About Eco 360
The Eco 360 Environmental Preservation Center is a nonprofit association, founded in 2007, dedicated to protecting a living stretch of the Atlantic Forest atop Morro do Macaco, in Bombinhas, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Our mission is to preserve the biodiversity of this area, care for the trails and the surrounding nature, and bring people closer to this environment through environmental education. The association's purposes include environmental preservation, environmental education, support for ecological tourism, the upkeep of a controlled public visitation area, a museum, and an environmental education center.
It is within this protected area that the Mirante Eco 360 lookout is located. A short, easy trail leads you to the top of Morro do Macaco, where the view opens up in 360° over the beaches, the sea, and the forest. Visiting the lookout is also a way to experience, up close, the nature the association works to protect.
Eco 360 brings together two sides of the same purpose: the environmental preservation association and the operation that welcomes visitors. Together, they keep the area open, cared for, and protected, uniting responsible tourism and preservation.
By visiting responsibly, you become part of the effort to keep this view standing and this nature alive for the generations to come.
